Located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, Vancouver Island Phytoplankton's algae facility spans over 8 acres of pristine land adjacent to the Pacific Ocean where hundreds of fresh water creeks flow into the Straight Of Georgia. These creeks provide the ocean with a multitude of nutrients that create a unique and one-of-a-kind body of water that supports high marine phytoplankton diversity.
Vancouver Island Phytoplankton prides itself on manufacturing natural, renewable and sustainable multi-species marine phytoplankton. Our large-scale facility produces phytoplankton outdoors year-round using natural seawater and natural sunlight. No artificial light, growth chambers, or bioreactors are used. We're all natural!
